The Career Technical Education Division of Bevill State is responsible for all non-health related skills training in the College service area. The Division is tasked with offering comprehensive workforce and community development service training to support the needs of the communities served.

The Division offers programs of study that lead to Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees, long-term certificates, short-term certificates, and certificates of completion. Training is available in high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers in a wide variety of career path options.

The Alabama Mining Academy is the state's sole provider of mine training, serving over 8,000 individuals a year with new miner and refresher training, foreman certification, and other specialized training. On-site, campus, and simulation training provides a wide variety of options to meet industry need.
