Tanner Hawkins, a Health Physical Education major at Bevill State, has been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship. Hawkins was chosen from more than 900 applicants.
Earlier today Representative Bill Roberts presented checks worth $18,000 to both Walker County and Jasper City Schools to be used in the BSCC Dual Enrollment Program.
A new center located on the Bevill State Sumiton campus will provide the latest technological support for apprentice and journeymen training.
