The opening program for the 2009 Read Alabama! The Tradition Continues series began with Alabama author James L. Noles, Jr. on Tuesday evening pictured here with Judge Jerry Selman. He presented his latest book, A Pocketful of History: Four Hundred Years of America - One State Quarter at a Time, to an enthusiastic crowd. Noles also spoke to the Rotary Club of Jasper during their lunch meeting on Tuesday. The next Read Alabama! The Tradition Continues will feature Joe Hilley on February 10, 2009 at 4 p.m. in the Bevill Hall auditorium on the Jasper campus of Bevill State.
