Read Alabama! The Tradition Continues series featured New York Times bestselling author Joe Hilley on Tuesday evening. Hilley, a resident of south Alabama, spoke to the audience about his decision to become a writer. The next Read Alabama! The Tradition Continues will feature Gin Phillips and her novel, The Well and the Mine, on February 24 at 4 p.m. The program is held in the Bevill Hall auditorium on the Jasper campus of Bevill State. Refreshments are served at 3:30 p.m. The public is invited.
