Read Alabama! The Tradition Continues series featured Alabama author Gin Phillips on Tuesday evening. Phillips, a resident of Birmingham, spoke to the audience about her first novel, The Well and the Mine. The next Read Alabama! The Tradition Continues will feature Sara DuBose and her series of novels including Where Hearts Live and A Promise for Tomorrow on March 10 at 4 p.m. The program is held in the Bevill Hall auditorium on the Jasper campus of Bevill State. Refreshments are served at 3:30 p.m. The public is invited.
