Sophomores and juniors from the Fayette County school system participated in a Career Day held at Bevill State Community College on Friday, April 3.  The students attended break-out sessions focusing on motivation and goal setting, career technical education and workforce opportunities, careers in the healthcare profession, and academic college preparation. Mark Brown of State Farm and Barry Eads with DCH Fayette Medical Center, along with Bevill State faculty and staff, served as presenters for the sessions. Additionally, a career fair, consisting of more than 30 occupations represented, allowed students an opportunity to gain knowledge about different career paths.
