This program is designed for students who desire a general education or who want to complete the first two years of a baccalaureate degree and transfer to a four-year college. Emphasizing the study of language, literature, history, philosophy, mathematics, science, and the fine arts, the program provides students with a substantial educational foundation with which to pursue their chosen profession. Students can transfer to any four-year college or university in the state of Alabama as a junior by following the STARS program.
