Students completing the coursework leading to the Associate in Science in Biological Sciences will be positioned to transfer to a four year institution to continue their undergraduate study.

Career Oppotunities
Students who choose to complete the bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry may seek employment opportunities in governmental agencies, teaching, health care, and research. By completing the Associate in Science and the Bachelor of Science, students will also be qualified for admission to additional professional schools (medicine, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, occupational therapy) and most graduate schools. All science related programs of study share some common courses; however, significant differences do exist. Consultation with an academic advisor is strongly suggested in order to select the proper program of study to meet the student's needs.
