Training and Experience are Rewarded

Annual incomes for those in the electricity and electronics field vary widely. Salaries in the electricity field rage from $12 to $34 per hour depending on experience and location. In 2004, median hourly wages of electricians were $20.33. As current electricians retire, there is expected to be a shortage of qualified electricians, making this a field in high demand.
