Machine Tool Technology is offered on the Hamilton and Sumiton Campuses of Bevill State. As a graduate of the Machine Tool Technology program, a wide array of careers become possible occupations. Our graduates are qualified to seek jobs as machinists, production machinists, manufacturers, tool and die makers, computer numeric control operators programmers, and quality inspectors.

The majority of graduates from the Bevill State Machine Tool Technology program move into the field as machine tool operators. The world of machinists is quite different than what many might expect. With the advent of the computer numeric control machining, the greasy and noisy machines of the past have been all but replaced by more modern computer-driven machinery.
