The paralegal program of study offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree and a long-term certificate. The Associate in Applied Science consists of 27 semester hours of general studies courses and 39 semester hours of courses directed related to the paralegal profession. The long-term certificate consists of 12 semester hours of general studies courses and 39 semester hours of courses directly related to the paralegal profession.

Career Opportunities
Individuals completing the Paralegal program have employment potential as paralegals, legal assistants, law clerks, title examiner, abstractor, and title searchers. Salaries are often driven by location, with salaries in the immediate area on the order of $20,000 to salaries in larger cities and with additional experience ranging from $30,000 to $60,000.
