Step 1  Complete the Admissions Process

Step 2  Know the format of instruction that fits your personal needs. Bevill State offers a wide array of courses in various instructional formats to fit the unique learning needs of each student. Students can choose from the following course instructional methods:
 
  • Traditional - Courses that are taught in the traditional class meeting format. Students are required to attend class at the designated class meeting times.
  • Interactive Intercampus Television System (IITS) - Courses are taught from one site and remotely transmitted to the other sites. Students can interact with other students and the instructor through this remote system. Students are required to attend class at the designated class meeting times.
  • Hybrid - Courses that are taught in a combined format of online and in-class meeting format. Students must come to class as scheduled for lectures, exams, complete web-based assignments, and work with other students to complete group assignments or projects.
  • Web-Based - Courses taught totally through an online format using the Blackboard course management system. Students interested in taking an online course should complete the Is Online Learning for You Survey to assess readiness for online learning.
 

Step 3  Contact your advisor to schedule an advising session.

Step 4  Print your degree plan at My BSCC which details the course requirements for your program of study.  Review Accessing Your College Account for instructions .

Step 5  Begin to review the course schedule and use the registration form to create a trial schedule prior to meeting with your advisor.

Step 6  Meet with your advisor and register at BSCC.  Your registration is not complete until all tuition and fees are paid.

Q. Can I Register Online?
A: Students must meet with their advisor prior to registering for classes. Advisors may authorize students to register online if necessary.
