Community Education

Bevill State offers a variety of special interest courses through the Community Education program and are designed for those seeking professional growth and personal enrichment. Most classes require a minimum number of participants, interested persons should register at least two days prior to the starting date of the class to ensure enrollment. Some of the classes offered include Floral Arranging, Art Lessons, Cake Decorating, Computer for Adults, Gourmet Cooking, Line Dancing, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, Photography, Sign Language, Yoga, and Conversational Spanish.

Online Community Education - Ed2Go

Bevill State has partnered with Ed2Go, an online training and education provider, to offer more than 250 non-credit online continuing education classes. From the convenience of home or office a student can explore digital photography, develop grant writing skills, or prepare for computer certification exams. Students can also develop workforce skills to gain advancement in a career or enter a new field. In the partnership with Ed2Go, Bevill State provides over 100 non-credit online career training classes in areas such as healthcare, IT and software development, skilled trades, or media and design. There are career paths open for dozens of interests. Ed2Go courses are taught by qualified instructors who are experienced in their subject area and eager to assist students. Participants will receive a letter of completion if they choose to take an optional final exams
