Healthcare Continuing Education

The Division of Workforce Solutions offers Continuing Education courses for Healthcare Professionals. These are primarily offered in cooperation with employers who organize classes for license renewal requirements of existing employees.

Breaking the Cycle of Abuse

The Hamilton Campus of Bevill State Community College partners with Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center and Marion County Department of Human Resources annually to host Breaking the Cycle of Abuse Multidisciplinary Conference on Child Abuse Prevention. Originating in 1993, this annual conference brings together professionals such as licensed professional counselors, social workers, RNs, LPNs, juvenile probation officers, attorneys, clergy, and members of the general public who are invested in addressing issue to secure a safer, healthier, and happier future for children. CEUs are available to attendees.
