Medication Assistants are relatively new to the workforce. While there no data available for reference, there is a high demand for this training, with many facilities booking training classes for existing employees and stating a preference for incoming employees who have this certification. The Medication Assistant Certification offers a step towards career advancement for CNAs already in the workforce.

About Medication Assistant Class

15 Weeks Classes meet: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm- 9:30pm

Location: Sumiton Campus

Clinicals: 40 hours during course of program

Prerequisites: High School Diploma or GED and CNA Certification

Cost: $1,180 • WIOA approved
