Student Counseling

Bevill State Community College is committed to promoting the health and well-being of our students, faculty and staff. Community referral services are available through the Office of Student Services. A student in need of immediate counseling should call the Northwest Mental Health Center at 1-800-489-3971.

Bevill State partners with Uwill to offer free, immediate access to teletherapy, a direct crisis connection, and on-demand wellness programming. Students can choose a therapist based on their preferences, including availability, issue, gender, language, and more. In addition, Uwill’s wellness platform provides resources like yoga, meditation, and mindfulness to help students recharge and stay focused throughout the semester. Crisis support is also available 24/7/365.
