Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)

WIOA is a program to train/retrain dislocated workers and low-income students who lack marketable skills. WIOA eligibility is determined through Alabama Career Centers. Funds generally cover tuition and required fees. Students who are interested in Nursing or Surgical Technology should note that WIOA does require prior admittance into these programs before they will consider funding for the student.

For the list of WIOA approved programs at Bevill State please follow the steps below:

1. Visit alabamaworks.alabama.gov
2. Click on Provider/Education Services
3. Type in Bevill State in the Keyword box and click search
4. Then select your campus for the list of approved programs
