Educational Talent Search

Fayette, Hamilton and Sumiton Campuses

The Talent Search Program identifies and assists individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue to the postsecondary school of their choice. Talent Search also serves high school drop-outs by encouraging them to reenter the educational system and complete their education.

Fayette ETS

The Fayette program serves eight schools located within the five counties of the Bevill State Community College Service Area: Aliceville High School, Corner Middle School, Corner High School, Double Springs Middle School, Fayette Middle School, Fayette High School, Jasper High School, Lynn High School, Minor High School, Oak Grove High School, and Winston County High School.

Sumiton ETS

The Sumiton program serves nineteen schools located within Bevill State Community College Service Area: Berry High School, Brilliant High School, Carbon Hill High School, Cordova High School, Curry High School, Dora High School, Gordo High School, Hackleburg High School, Hamilton High School, Hubbertville High School, Lamar County High School, Marion County High School, Oakman High School, Oakman Middle School, Phillips High School, Pickens County High School, South Lamar High School, Sulligent High School, and Winfield High School.
