In support of the BSCC Mission, the library/learning resources provides human and material resources which support, enhance and supplement the educational process wherever programs or courses are located and however they delivered, by making available a variety of information and related learning services to students, faculty and staff, and, when appropriate, to the general community.
LibGuides is an easy to use Content Management System used by many thousands of libraries worldwide. Librarians use it to curate knowledge and share information by creating online Guides on any topic, subject, course, on any process, on anything.
The Bevill State Community College, Fayette Campus Library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)

Bevill State Community College has designated an agent to receive notification of claimed copyright infringement on Bevill State Community College web site as required by The Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe your work is being infringed on Bevill State's web site, pleased notify your campus librarian.
According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the notification of claimed infringement must include:
A library card, which is the student identification card, is required before books can be checked out. Books may be checked out for two weeks. Books may be renewed by phone or in person. If a book is needed by another patron, a “hold” can be placed on the book. When the book is returned, the patron will be notified by mail or telephone. Reference books and audiovisual material are to be used only in the LRC.
Fines of $0.25 a day, excluding weekends and college holidays, are charged for overdue books. Overdue notices are sent by mail or e-mail every two weeks.
If books are lost or damaged, recovery cost must be paid before additional books can be borrowed. All accounts with the LRC must be cleared at the end of the semester. Students will not be allowed to register for a new semester until all books are returned and all fines are paid.
Books and other materials for special assignments or required reading are placed “On Reserve” by the faculty so that they can be used by the greatest number of students during a limited period of time. Reserve materials must be requested at the circulation desk.
A self-service copier is available for copying. The cost is $0.10 per page for black and white copies and $0.25 per page for color copies. Back files of periodicals are located in storage areas and also on microfilm. A microfilm reader/printer is provided and can be used to make copies of articles at a cost $0.10 per page.
